Ebenezer Blackadder is the nicest man in Victorian England, and it is ruining his life. Everyone takes advantage of his generosity, so on Christmas Eve the Spirit of Christmas turns up with a solution: show him his ancestors and two possible futures. Naturally, Blackadder learns precisely the wrong lesson. Dickens gets a thoroughly wicked makeover in this Blackadder special, which gets nastier and funnier by the minute. A proper festive classic, and a bracing antidote to all the sugary Carols out there.
