Detectorists

The Danebury Metal Detecting Club is in trouble. Developers are sniffing around the scout hall, a big finder's fee has slipped away, and the club needs a miracle. When Lance secures permission to search ten acres of undetected land, things look up. Then a mysterious relic is unearthed, Lance breaks protocol, and his friendship with Andy and the future of the club are both at risk. Mackenzie Crook's love letter to friendship, the English countryside and gentle, slow comedy is as lovely as ever in this feature-length return. Put the kettle on and expect to be moved.
