Austria, Krampusnacht 1977. The good children get gifts from St Nicholas and the bad ones get punished by the demonic Krampus. Julian and Kathy arrive at a chalet for a holiday with their family, and then a guide starts telling tales. Shot like a creaky 1970s TV movie, with a director's commentary running over the top, this is Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith at their wickedest. It's clever, funny and properly creepy, and it knows exactly which folk-horror tropes it is playing with. A cracking pick for grown-ups who like a spooky Christmas, but save it until the children are in bed.
