The cameras return to Slough to find out what became of the Wernham Hogg gang. Dawn is back from America, Tim is trying to move on, and David Brent is still convinced that he is the star of the show. There is a Christmas party, naturally, and it is every bit as awkward as you would hope. A two-part finale that somehow manages to be cringe-inducing, funny and genuinely lovely by the end. If you only watch one of the Christmas specials in a week, make it this one.
