Wallace and Gromit have opened a bakery called Top Bun, and trade is booming because a Cereal Killer has been bumping off every other baker in town. Wallace has fallen head over heels for Piella Bakewell, former star of the Bake-O-Lite bread adverts, while Gromit would much rather be getting to know her poodle, Fluffles, and ends up doing the actual detective work. Nick Park's Hitchcock-flavoured whodunnit is packed with plasticine puns, a ridiculous chase and some very silent acting from a dog with no mouth. Cosy crime for people who like their murder with crumpets.
