The Doctor is flying the TARDIS when a furious woman in a wedding dress suddenly appears inside it. She is Donna Noble, she has no idea how she got there, and she was due to be married about now. When the reception is gatecrashed by robot Santas, the pair are dragged into a plot hatched deep under London involving a shadowy company and a spider-like empress with an appetite for entire worlds. It is loud, jokey and fast, with the Tenth Doctor and Donna bickering line for line. A gloriously festive romp with plenty of tinsel and one very serious bit of peril.
