Agatha Christie's Poirot
Hercule Poirot's Christmas
A wicked patriarch, a murdered Christmas and Poirot ruining everyone's reunion.
- Family-safe
Content note: A murder mystery, with a throat-slashing at the centre of the plot, but a cosy period whodunnit rather than anything gory. Fine for older kids and Nan.

Tyrannical, wealthy Simeon Lee summons his adult children home for a Christmas reunion, apparently to enjoy stirring up trouble. Before the holiday arrives he has been murdered, and one of his own family looks to be the culprit. Cue David Suchet's Poirot, called in to untangle a houseful of resentful suspects who all have something to hide, with Inspector Japp for company. Adapted from Agatha Christie's 1938 novel, it is a proper fireside whodunnit, with just enough tinsel to keep it seasonal and a reveal worth waiting for.
